Boxed Meal Program
Are you always running to class, or just can't make it to the Dockside in time for your meal? Never fear, we won’t let you go hungry! If you have a class conflict that results in a missed meal, you have the option of pre-ordering a boxed meal. Just complete the form below and provide it to the cashier at least 24 hours in advance. You may also pick up the form from the cashier at the Dockside. When it comes time to pick up your boxed meal, simply pick up from the cashier at the dining hall!

Food Services at Saint Mary’s University is running a program that is enabling students to easily follow special diets, empowering students to become more mindful in where their food comes from and educating them about sustainability. No one food works for everyone; this is why Food Services at Saint Mary’s has introduced the DINE@SMU program! DINE@SMU stands for Dietary Intolerances and Nearby Eating at Saint Mary’s University. The program is an Aramark initiative that intends to help make food more accessible to those with dietary concerns, increase awareness for local food ingredients on campus, and help diners become more mindful about where their food comes from. The program uses colorful identification “clings” with icons for six categories: No Gluten Ingredients, Local Ingredients, Vegetarian, Vegan, Sustainable Seafood, and Halal.
DINE@SMU can be found at the Dockside Dining Hall. Recipes and ingredients are managed by our expert chefs. Our onsite Registered Dietitian has analyzed each dish, and regularly monitors the program to ensure clings are used both accurately and appropriately. Saint Mary’s is excited to better cater to the needs of our students and look forward to building awareness of the program, and increase user engagement. Have a Burning Question?
You can Ask a Dietitian! The purpose of this is to help you to make healthier and more informed choices both on and off campus. Many individuals follow specific diets due to chronic diseases or illnesses, allergies or intolerance, dislikes and, cultural preferences and often lack the support needed to follow these diets especially students who are living away from home. Members of the university may also be unsure of meals they are able to consume on-campus that are compliant with their diets. This easy e-mail and response system enables you to ask a Registered Dietitian/dietetic interns nutrition-related questions and receive timely responses.
How Does it Work?
It's simple! Ask the Dietitian by e-mailing Kelly, and your question should be answered within 3 business days.
