KEYS TO A SUCCESSFUL CATERING EVENT
One element of a successful event is planning. If your event is taking place at Saint Mary's University your first step is to contact Conference Services. Staff members there will assist you with all facets of your event including: room reservation, set-up, audio-visual, liquor services, parking arrangements etc.. Once these are determined and booked it is time to arrange the food services with the university caterers, ARAMARK Higher Education. Please phone 420-5159.
The following menus feature some of our most popular selections. However our talented staff will be delighted to design a menu to suit your specifications, budget or theme, including full attention to any dietary considerations.
Credits & Deposits
For external groups: Aramark Higher Education will require payment in full with final numbers at least three (3) business days propr to the event. Alternatively, groups can be invoiced if a credit card is provided for payment. Full payment smust be received within 30 days of the completed event otherwise the outstanding balance will be charged to the credit card. In the event that this guaranteed number is not supplied , the final (expected attendance) number shall be considered the guaranteed number.For internal groups: A completed requisition for catering services must be submitted & received in the catering office no later than 24 hours after your function.
Cancellations must be received at least three working days prior to the event in order to avoid a cancellation fee of 50% of all anticipated charges. Cancellations received within forty-eight hours of a function may be subject to a cancellation charge of 100% of all anticipated charges.
Due to Provincial Health Regulations, Saint Mary's University requires that all food services ordered must be by the university caterer, ARAMARK Higher Education. At the end of your event, all food must remain on-site, unless otherwise authorized by ARAMARK Higher Education.
Please note that some menu items have minimum billing numbers. There may also be a minimum order charge levied. Please check with the catering office at the time of ordering. Prices listed in this menu are per person and do not include taxes. External clients are also subject to a 15% service charge.

Although these items arrive with the same dedicated service and culinary excellence you have come to expect, they provide enhanced value in that you can simply enjoy your event and dispose of all products once your guests have finished - no clean up needed!
